I’m a sucker for short stories. They’re a great form for a writer to experiment with if they’re burned out on writing novels and a way for a reader to relax when time’s limited. So when Anthony Pond asked me to take a look at a few of his short stories, I eagerly accepted and inquired if he had more. That’s when I learned about his book, Across the Border.
It’s going to make you feel uneasy and more than likely offended, yet it’s also a story worth reading because it has something important to say. That is the way I describe The Last White Man by Fadhil Qaradaghi.
